Reseach on I

  • Adi Shankaracharya has said, “True devotion is aligning with one’s true nature” (Swaswaroopa Anusandhanam Bhakti).
  • Yogi Vemana also stated, “Knowing oneself is realizing Brahman.”
  • Ramana Maharshi taught, “Who am I? Where am I?” Self-inquiry into the “I” is the simplest path to self-realization, guiding one to know their true nature of Sat-Chit-Ananda (Existence-Consciousness-Bliss).
  • Simple Path: For devotees with intense desire to explore the “I,” a seven-day “Self-Inquiry Yoga Practice Week” will be conducted at Yogi Ram Thapovanam

This immersive week aims to instill faith that self-realization, the ultimate goal of human life, is achievable.

Scientific Vedanta:

A key part of the program, Vaijnanika Vedanta (Scientific Vedanta), aligns the essence of Vedanta with modern scientific insights. This includes deep study and practical alignment with Vedantic truths such as:

  • Mahavakya Vichara: The great statements of Vedanta

  • Avasthatraya Vicharana: Inquiry into the three states of consciousness

  • Ekam Anantam: The One and the Infinite

  • Drik Drishya Viveka: Discrimination between the seer and the seen

  • Brahma Satyam Jagat Mithya: Reality of Brahman, unreality of the world.

Scientific insights from Astronomy, Physics, Cell Biology, Microbiology, and Genetics provide a “modern Bhagavata” explaining the wonders of creation as the play of the Divine. The program also includes science experiments and video presentations.

Balanced Diet:

Participants are provided with sprouts, milk, fruits, raw food, silence, and will be encouraged to sit for prolonged periods practicing various meditation techniques. These routines must be observed during the entire seven days.
